Our mission is summarized below
It is high time we intensify evangelism at the local parishes using various means of evangelization, such as outreach programs during special holidays, crusades, and community contributions to demonstrate Christ’s love. (Operation Andrew – save a soul a week, One-Verse Evangelism, etc.). Wouldn’t you like to shine as stars forever and ever? Daniel 12:3
There is no alternative to maintaining the esteemed standard of ‘old-time religion.’ We must be obedient to follow Christ implicitly without reservations. This starts with Pastors regarding integrity in ministry, manners of conduct, maturity, marriage, money, morality, and being well-informed. The leaders must assimilate these attributes and then impartthem to the followers. Are you a model of integrity? Proverbs. 22:28, Isaiah. 35:8
We face the challenge of integrating our African inclination into acceptable American values, not limiting fellowship to Africans. The African Christian attributes we hold strongly are holiness, prayerfulness, strong faith, deepness of worship, and a hand of fellowship. At the same time, American virtues include effective time management, community service, and strategic planning. ” … with all thy getting get understanding” Proverbs. 4:7
Are you getting the principal thing?
Most of us vividly remember the miracles that abound during Holy-Ghost services and the annual National Holy Ghost Congress in Lagos. The Lord can surely bring the same level of revival to North America; how prepared are we for this?
Our Lord Jesus Christ’s great commission is that we go into the world and propagate the Gospel. Today, in furtherance of this mandate, The Redeemed Christian Church of God established over 1,500 parishes worldwide in 2001. We believe in positioning our worship centers close to the people; hence in North America, we are challenged to establish parishes in every State, County, City and, in fact, within 30 minutes driving distance. Today, we have about 100 parishes in North America, and our target before the following year’s convention is to reach 200. What is your contribution towards this goal?
In a country with people from different backgrounds, we do our best to conduct our services so that everyone flows in the Spirit of GOD as one big family.
We would love for you to join this loving community that GOD is raising!
We Value the Pursuit of God
We thirst for His presence and to know more of Him through private and public worship, the Word, and prayer.
Psalm 42:1-2, 63:1-3; Matt 5:23; Luke 6:21
We Value Christlikeness
We want to be like the Lord and Savior in all conduct. We want to minister by serving people as He did with compassion, under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We shall convey the love, mercy, and power of God through the ministry of the church.
Luke 14:16-20; John 20:21; Ephesians 5:2; Colossians 3:12
We value godly family life where parents live as examples and cultivate an environment in which their children’s spiritual, emotional, and social growth can be fully accomplished. We value marital fidelity, where husband and wife can depend on each other to provide spiritual, emotional, and intimate needs.
Deuteronomy 6:7; Proverbs 22:6; 2 Timothy 3:15;Proverbs 5:15-19; 1 Corinthians 7:3-5, Galatians 5:19-20; Hebrews 13:4
We value purposeful singleness, where the uniqueness of being single (unmarried) should be used to bless the church.
Matthew 19:12c; 1 Corinthians 7:32-34
Body of Christ
We value the Church of God as the body of Christ. We shall desire to seek its good, growth, and prosperity.
We value the church’s members and shall seek to treat one another with respect and appropriate courtesy irrespective of gender, social and physical status. We shall strive to help members to grow in grace and fully realize their God-given potential.
Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 3:9-11; 5:25-27; 1 Timothy 3:5; John 13:35; Romans 12: 9-10; Galatians 6:10, Thessalonians 3:12, Colossians 3:12-14.
We Value the Mercy of God
We value the mercy of God – we shall always recognize in humility that all the goodness we receive from God is a result of His mercies, even those blessings we may regard as “rights” because of our relationship with Him as children. We shall therefore seek to extend mercy to another and to all who come under the church’s ministry.
Psalm 52:8; Lamentation 3:22-23; Colossians 3:12; James 5:11
We Value Giving
we shall always give ourselves first to the cause of the kingdom of God and encourage church members to give their material and financial blessings out of a willing and cheerful heart. We recognize that this ability comes from God Almighty, out of whom all blessings flow. 1 Chronicles 29:12-14; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 8:1,2,5,7; 9:6-8
We Value Integrity and Stewardship
We value personal and corporate integrity and, therefore, shall deal with and conduct our affairs truthfully and honestly such that the gospel of Jesus Christ shall not suffer any reproach because of our conduct. We value servant leadership. Our leaders shall serve the church members as Christ did selflessly and not for profit or self-glorification.

Psalm 133:1; Romans 12:5; Ephesians 4:3-6,13
We Value Simplicity and Modesty
We value simplicity and desire to do nothing in our private and public worship just for “effects” and “showing off.” We shall seek to be generous and gracious in our speech, firm in our convictions, and chaste in our dressing.
Philippians 2:3; Colossians 3:17; Galatians 5:26; Philippians 2:3; 1 Timothy 4:14; 1 Peter 3:3-4; 1 John 2:15-17
